It is with great sadness that we share the sad news of Sir Hugh Laddie’s death. Sir Hugh’s admirable career spanned many years as a barrister before the Intellectual Property bar, a decade as a Patents Court judge, and later as IP consultant to Willoughby & Partners (now Rouse) and Professor of Intellectual Property Law at University College London. Sir Laddie made a tremendous contribution to IP in the UK and beyond. He will be greatly missed. We offer our sincerest condolences to Sir Laddie’s family.
